Anna Witt Wins SW Women’s Open Triples Championship

Anna Witt participated in the Southwest Division Women’s Open tournament this past Saturday 5/14 and Sunday 5/15.   Her triples team –  Janice Bell (skip), Anna Witt (vice), and Nancy Nishikawa (lead),  was part of a field of 54 competitors.   Anna’s teammates Janice and Nancy are members of the Jefferson Park Lawn Bowls Club in Seattle WA.  On the first day of play, Anna’s team had 3 wins and 1 tie which earned them enough points to play in the top flight on the second day.  They won all three of their games in the top flight and then won 1st place in the championship flight.  Congratulations to Anna and her team!
