Milwaukee Lawn Bowls Club to Hold Open House
The Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowls Club will hold a public Open House on Saturday and Sunday July 14-15 from 11AM to 3 PM. Guest will be given demonstrations and instructions and will be able to participate in actual games. All equipment will be furnished. Guests are asked to wear flat soled shoes. Couples, singles, adults young and old are encouraged to attend this free Open House to learn what the sport of lawn bowls is all about. Light refreshments will be available. Demonstrations will be given on the hour at 11AM, 12PM, 1PM, and 2PM. The club’s season runs mid-May – September. The club has intra-club tournaments, divisional tournaments, and a variety of social events. Some members compete in national and international tournaments.
