No-Bocce Bowls Pairs Tournament

On Sunday afternoon, July 21, 16 club members comprising 8 teams competed in the club’s first “No-Bocce” Bowl Tournament.  Playing three close and competitive games of 8 ends each, the teams bowled for 1st and 2nd place. The winners are: 1st place:  John Adamski and Sue Dropp, 2nd place:  Norma Harrington and Jack Abrams.  Check out the unique trophy in the clubhouse created for this event.  Everyone had a great time – especially since the first raindrops splattered just as the last bowls were rolled. As the group enjoyed a pizza dinner under the awning, it was agreed a new club tradition had been born. Thank you to everyone who made the day a success!
