US Lawn Bowls Championships Day 2 – Witt/Mather 4-0

Anna Witt & Glorianne Mather sit alone in 1st place at 4-0 after the second day at the U.S. Lawn Bowls Championships taking place in Seattle. The rest of the Central teams went 1-1 each for the day. Central’s opponents were the host Northwest Division (game 1) and South Central (game 2).  Singles — Max Cavender 19-21 L and 21-14 W (record 3-1); Charlene Harmon 2-21 L and 21-18 W (1-3);  Pairs — Carl Landgren/Steve Nelson 19-16 W and 15-19 L (3-1);  Anna Witt/Glorianne Mather 15-12 and 15-13 (4-0).  Three games remain and titles are still up for grabs.
